ERROR MANAGEMENT Observation date: 21/02/2022 In my opinion, error management is quite sensitive because it is a double-edged sword. In other words, when learners are willing to accept corrections, it reinforces the process of learning. On the other hand, if Ss harbour a negative attitude about it, it will destroy the confidence of learners. From the observation, I noticed that T occasionally corrected Ss, especially when they made common mistakes that their classmates had the same. Usually, Ss had grammatical mistakes, which were corrected by T. During the homeroom hour, Ss were supposed to talk about their weekend, which means they needed to use past simple tense. When Ss made mistakes in terms of tense, they were corrected by T. For instance, a student said "I wake up...". Then, T corrected them immediately by saying "I woke up...".
